Dress Code (Enforced)
Women
Think a mix of prohibition-era luxury, Southern seduction, and modern Black excellence, with outfits that are lightweight yet dramatic, breathable but bold.
Suggested looks include slip dresses in silk, satin, or chiffon with high slits or open backs; lace or mesh details; corset tops paired with wide-leg trousers, sheer skirts, or bias-cut skirts; vintage-inspired two-piece sets with crop tops and long skirts or high-waisted pants. Accessories like feathered fans, sheer gloves, and layered pearls complete the look. Recommended colors are oxblood, champagne, emerald, burnt gold, and jet black.
Fabric tips: choose lightweight satins, mesh, tulle, lace, and organza over heavy velvet. Prioritize breathable cuts like backless, strappy, or open necklines.
Men
Picture a Southern gentleman meets jazz club rebel, sharp, seductive, and timeless with breathable fabrics and bold accessories.
Suggested styles include linen or lightweight wool suits in deep tones like black, navy, oxblood, charcoal, or emerald; suspenders with button-down shirts; wide-leg trousers or high-waisted slacks with tucked-in silk or satin shirts; tailored vests with rolled-up sleeves; short-sleeve Cuban collar shirts in luxe fabrics paired with dress pants. Velvet accessories such as bow ties, pocket squares, or loafers add a finishing touch.
Shoes should be loafers, brogues, or monk straps; no sneakers. Accessories might include wide-brimmed fedoras, vintage sunglasses, tie bars, and chain watches. Color palette favors rich tones like burgundy, black, ivory, deep green, and midnight blue, with metallic accents in gold, silver, or bronze.
