What is Royalty: The Royalty Happy Hour is where Black excellence meets good vibes. Hosted by MelaninCon, this event is all about bringing our people together to connect, vibe, and celebrate in style. It’s a laid-back but lit space with great music, signature cocktails, and a whole lot of culture. Whether you’re here to network, catch a vibe, or just enjoy the energy of the room, this is where we shine together—unapologetically Black and proud.
Seating is limited, on a reserved and first-come, first-served basis. This is a mix-and-mingle event and is not meant to be an event where you only sit with people you know. So network, expand your network, and have fun!
Moët is the event sponsor and is sponsoring the first hour of drinks with an open bar (drink ticket style). Upon arrival, you will recieve a drink ticket to redeem at the bar. There will be a curated drink menu of Hennessy Moët cocktails. Drink and bottle specials will be available all night for the event. Off-the-menu drinks are also available.

Dress Code: For our Royalty happy hour, we’re celebrating class, culture, and community. We want everyone to feel comfortable, confident, and powerful, while looking their best in a way that honors our heritage and excellence.
Men: Casual cocktail attire with a twist—button-up shirts, tailored pants, and blazers if you like. Bold colors or sharp tailoring. Shoes should be on point but comfortable enough for a night of good vibes.
Women: Classy but comfortable—dresses, chic jumpsuits, or tailored separates. Pair them with stylish heels or elegant flats, whatever makes you feel both put together and at ease.

8:00 PM: Performance by Heru
8:30 PM to 10:00 PM: Vibe and mingle
Throughout the Event: Live painter, fit cam, and step-and-repeat for photos
